Xiaomi has been delivering MIUI 13 update for eligible devices since January. The latest smartphones to receive the fresh version of the company’s mobile software are POCO F3 GT and Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G. The former is a gaming handset, while the latter is a lifestyle phone.
The POCO F3 GT and Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G are sold in India as rebranded Redmi K40 Gaming Edition and Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE. The original versions got access to the MIUI 13 update a while back.
Apart from bringing new MIUI features, the latest system update for smartphones also bumps up the Android version to Android 12. This means they are getting their first major MIUI and Android updates together. Additionally, the fresh software update comes with only February 2022 security patches though it’s already mid-March.
