Google is reportedly working on the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro series of flagship phones. In all likelihood, the Pixel 7 duo will debut in October this year. The rumor mill is now gradually revealing key details on the specs of both smartphones. Now, display analyst Ross Young has tipped the screen sizes of the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro.

According to Young, the Pixel 7 will be equipped with a 6.3-inch display, which means it will be slightly smaller than the 6.4-inch screen available on the Pixel 6. As far as the Pixel 7 Pro, its screen size is likely to be same as its predecessor, the Pixel 6 Pro.

To recall, the Pixel 6 Pro features a 6.71-inch AMOLED LTPO QHD+ 120Hz display. It remains to be seen whether the the Pixel 7 Pro will retain the same display. Young added that the shipping of the Pixel 7 series display panels will begin in May, which means it will start one earlier than last year.

Last month, reliable tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer shared the CAD renders of the Pixel 7 Pro. The images revealed that the display will have a centrally aligned punch-hole and curved edges. The handset is said to measure 163 x 76.6 x 8.7mm.

The CAD renders further revealed that the Pixel 7 Pro’s rear design will not be too different from its predecessor. It will continue to sport a dual-tone design with a horizontal camera module housing a triple camera unit, a microphone, and an LED flash. While the exact details of its cameras are not known, it is expected to feature a main wide-angle lens, an ultrawide camera, and a periscope telephoto snapper.

Past reports have revealed that the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are codenamed as Cheetah and Panther, respectively. They are likely to come equipped with the second-generation edition of the Tensor chip, which may include a Samsung-supplied Exynos 5300 modem. The Pixel 7 duo is expected to come preinstalled with Android 13 OS.
