Samsung will be unveiling the Galaxy A53 5G on March 17 through a global launch event. Ahead of the launch, a Vietnamese YouTuber Đức Khánh Channel has a hands-on video of the unannounced smartphone. The 7-minute video gives a good look at the design of the phone.

The Galaxy A53 5G hands-on video showcases its ‘Blue Sky’ variant. The video mentions that the device measures 8.1mm in thickness and weighs 189 grams. The bottom edge of the phone has a SIM slot, a USB-C port, a microphone, and a speaker grille. It lacks a 3.5mm audio jack.
The 5nm Exynos 1280 chipset, which is yet to go official, is present under the hood of the Galaxy A53 5G. The device is equipped with 8 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of RAM Plus (virtual RAM). The YouTube video shows that the Exynos 1280 powered handset has scored 373,500 points on the AnTuTu benchmarks. The YouTuber claimed that the phone felt cool after 30 minutes of gaming.

The device will come with 128 GB of storage and a 5,000mAh battery. It will carry support for 25W fast charging. Previous reports have claimed that the retail package of the device will not include a charger.
Coming to the screen, the Galaxy A53 5G has a 6.5-inch S-AMOLED display with an Infinity-O punch-hole design. It offers a Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 407 poi pixel density, and 800 nits of brightness. For durability, the device will offer Gorilla Glass 5 protection and IP67 water-resistance.
The rear camera setup of the phone comprises an OIS-enabled 64-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 5-megapixel depth sensor, and a 5-megapixel macro camera. For selfies, it is likely to feature a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.
