Huawei’s homegrown Harmony OS ecosystem has been further extended by the unveiling of the Huawei Smart Door Lock Pro. The new smart door lock runs on Harmony OS which provides more security features for the device. The Smart Door Lock Pro is capable of 3D facial recognition and its AI architecture ensures self-learning that improves facial recognition over time.
The Smart Door Lock Pro unlocks the door within a couple of seconds of assessing the person at the door. According to Huawei, there is only a very small probability that it will unlock the door for someone who ought not to gain access. This probability is put at about 1 in 1 million. The Harmony OS helps to integrate the Smart Door Lock Pro with other smart home devices providing for a connected experience within the home.
