Microsoft has offered some exciting perks with their game pass in India like users getting 8 months of membership for just Rs. 699 with their initial purchase of the game pass. And now, the company has made its intentions clear to aggressively target the Indian market as it has now slashed the prices of its Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Live Gold.
The company’s new game pass plans offer a 28% discount across all their various subscriptions for Indian players. The company will start to notify its users about the price cut from March 21 and the new plans would be applicable from April 2022. Users can visit the official website to buy a subscription. For players who own a PC or an Xbox console, purchasing a PC Game Pass or a Console Game Pass will give them access to the latest Xbox games on day one of release. Other than that, players can also play any game that has previously been released on the platform like Halo Infinite, Sea of Thieves, Forza Horizon 5, Rainbox Six Siege, and many more. If you own both the Xbox console and a PC, you can purchase the Game Pass ultimate, which will give you access to the game pass on both PC and console.
Microsoft also commented on the recent price cuts stating “We regularly evaluate the price of Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold at a local level to best serve customers in each country. These price adjustments were informed and based on local market conditions in each country. This is simply a continuation of the price adjustments we made in select countries late last year.”
