Realme launched the Realme 8 and 8i last year with Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 OS. Fast forward to March 2022 and both phones are getting the new Android 12 OS. However, the Realme 8i’s early access for the version is live, while the Realme 8 is receiving a stable update.

Realme has started rolling out the Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 for the Realme 8 devices in India. The firmware version is RMX3085_11.A.24/ RMX3085_11.A.26. The update is currently being rolled out in a staged manner, meaning it will be randomly available to any Realme 8. That being said, your phone might receive it now, while someone else’s model may get it later.

Other than the Realme 8, the Realme 8i users can now apply for early access. By applying for early access, users can experience the Realme UI 3.0 features before the software goes public for other Realme 8i users. The users can apply by going to Settings > Software Update > Trail versions > Early Access. Here, you can put in all the details and apply for the early access program. Post that, you can experiment with the new UI and look out for any possible improvements or bugs.
