OnePlus has a couple of Nord branded phones waiting in the pipeline to go official. The Nord 2T is likely to go official in April or May, while the Nord 3 may go official in July. It appears that the Nord CE 2 Lite may also launch soon as it has bagged approval from TDRA and India’s BIS authority.

The TDRA listing reveals that the OnePlus phone with the CPH2409 model number will be debuting on the market as the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite. The same device has also been certified by the BIS authority in India, which indicates that it may soon be launched in the country. As the moniker suggests, it could be a toned-down version of the OnePlus Nord CE 2.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite specifications

The  OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite will feature a 6.59-inch panel that offers a high refresh rate. It may feature a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 camera for snapping selfies and a 64-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit. The leaked renders of the device have revealed that it will not feature an alert slider.

The Snapdragon 695 chipset will be present under the hood of the Nord CE 2 Lite. The device will arrive with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. It will come with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The device will run on Android 11 OS and OxygenOS. It will house a 5,000mAh battery, which may carry support for 33W fast charging. For security, it has a side-facing fingerprint scanner.

There is no word on the price of the Nord CE 2 Lite. However, it seems that it may hit the Indian market with the sub-Rs 20,000 pricing.
