After debuting the device back in January in the Chinese market, Realme has now finally launched the latest Realme GT 2 Pro flagship smartphone in India.
The new device brings top-of-the-line specs like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, a triple camera setup with two 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensors, and a fluid 120Hz QHD+ screen with the latest LTPO 2.0 technology. So, where can you buy this awesome new device from?
Realme has revealed that the device will be available to purchase from the Realme India website, Flipkart, and will also be available in offline stores of the authorized retail partners. The first sale will be live online on April 14 at 12 PM. As for the pricing, the brand is offering the flagship smartphone in India at Rs 49,999 (~$658) for the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB variant and Rs 57,999 (~$764) for the 12 GB RAM + 256 GB variant.
Separately, Realme has also announced the release date of the vanilla Realme GT 2. The company has stated that it will be celebrating its fourth anniversary on May 4 this year. The company confirmed that the vanilla Realme GT2 would be released during its fourth anniversary in India.
Realme GT2 specifications
The Realme GT2 has a 6.62-inch AMOLED screen that offers a Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The device features a 16-megapixel selfie camera, and its back panel has a Sony IMX766 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro snapper.
Under the hood, it has a Snapdragon 888 SoC. In India, it may come with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will boot to the Android 12 OS with Realme UI 3.0 on top. The GT2 packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.
