Previous reports have revealed that an upcoming Xiaomi phone with a 2203129G model number will be launched in the global markets with the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G name. The handset has now bagged approval from the FCC authority in China. The listing has confirmed the key details of the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G.
The FCC certification reveals that the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G may come in three configurations, such as 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. It will carry support for 7 5G bands (SA: n5 / n7 / n66 / n77 / n78; NSA: n5 / n7 / n38 / n41 / n66 / n77 / n78).

The Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G will be equipped with support for up to 5.8GHz Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth, and dual SIM. It will come preinstalled with the Android 12 OS and MIUI 13. Apart from these details, the FCC listing has no other information on the specs of the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G.
Recent reports have revealed that the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G will be heading to markets like Asia and Europe soon. It is speculated that the device will borrow its specs and design from the China-exclusive Xiaomi CIVI handset and Xiaomi 12.

The Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G is likely to feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen that produces a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be a curved edge panel with a punch-hole placed at the top center. For security, it will be equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
The Geekbench listing of the device revealed that the Snapdragon 778G SoC will be present under the hood of the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G. The rear camera setup of the device will feature a 64-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GW3 main camera, an ultrawide camera, and a macro lens.
