The Vivo S12 series of smartphones were made official in December 2021 in China. Now, the company is reportedly working on its successor, which is likely to launch with the Vivo S15 name. It can be said based on recent leaks that the next-generation S-lineup will include at least three models such as Vivo S15, Vivo S15 Pro, and Vivo S15E. Today, Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station shared the key specifications of the Vivo S15 Pro.

The tipster revealed that the Vivo S15 Pro will have an OLED panel that will carry support for a high refresh rate. Like its predecessor model, the Vivo S12 Pro, its screen will have curved edges. The device will be powered by the Dimensity 8100 chipset and will carry support for 80W fast charging.

The S15 Pro will have a primary selfie camera of 50-megapixel. It will offer other features such as NFC, an IR blaster, and a linear motor. Apart from claiming that the Vivo S15 will feature the Snapdragon 870 SoC, he did not share any other information on the standard model. It goes without saying that the S15 series will sport an attractive design like the predecessor S-series of smartphones.

Vivo has a busy schedule this month. After announcing the Vivo X Fold, X Note, and Vivo Pad today in China, it is likely to take off covers from the X80 lineup later this month. Hence, it appears that the Vivo S15 family may go official in May this year in China.

As far as the Vivo S15E is concerned, it is expected to arrive with specs like a 6.44-inch AMOLED FHD+ screen, 16-megapixel selfie camera, 50-megapixel triple cameras, a 2.8GHz octa-processor, 6 GB / 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM, 128 GB / 256 GB / 512 GB of storage, and a 4,605mAh rated battery with 66W rapid charging, and in-display fingerprint sensor.
