Earlier today (19th April 2022), Motorola had officially confirmed the launch date of an upcoming mid-range smartphone. It is the Moto G52, which is set to be unveiled on April 25. However, prior to its launch, a new leak revealed its pricing for the region.
For those unaware, the smartphone maker launched the Moto G52 in Europe last week. Now, the brand is gearing up to release the device in the Indian market as well. But, as per a 91Mobiles report, known tipster Yogesh Brar has revealed the official pricing for the handset. Previously, we had reported on the rumored pricing of the device. The initial reports did not reveal the exact pricing but estimated that the Moto G52 will cost under the 20,000 INR segment (roughly 262 US Dollars).
According to the tipster, the Moto G52 has a box price of 19,999 INR for the 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant. However, its actual selling price will be 17,999 INR (roughly 235 US Dollars). In other words, the new leak is also in line with our previous reports. But keep in mind that this has still not been confirmed by the company. So take this news with a pinch of salt for now.
Talking about the smartphone itself, the Moto G52 is a mid range handset that arrives with a 6.6 inch FHD+ pOLED display that offers a 90Hz refresh rate. It houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 and runs on Android 12 OS out of the box. The rear feature a 50 megapixel triple camera setup while the front features a 16 megapixel selfie shooter. Under the hood, a large 5,000mAh battery pack powers the device, which also supports 33W fast charging.
