China Post had teased an upcoming smartphone towards the end of March known as the Hi Nova 9 SE. The telecoms company has now launched the smartphone in China and it is no different from the Huawei Nova 9 SE. The Hi Nova 9 SE carries a starting price of 2499 yuan (~$389) and will go on sale from April 23.Hi Nova 9 SE 5G

The Hi Nova 9 SE packs a 6.78-inch high-definition full-view screen with a side frame that is 1.05mm thick. The display has a 94.85% screen ratio, and 387PPI screen pixel density. The display comes with support for up to 120Hz refresh rate and is equipped with P3 wide color gamut color display technology.

Further, the nova 9 SE uses a 3D glass back shell with a thickness of 7.94mm. The device comes in three colors: dream ice blue, dream fritillary, and bright black.Hi Nova 9 SE

In terms of cameras, the Hi nova 9 SE has a front-facing 16-megapixel wide-angle camera equipped with AI smart beauty algorithms. At the back, there is a 100-megapixel quad-camera setup consisting of a 108MP main camera lens, a 2MP depth-of-field lens, a 4CM macro lens, and an 8MP wide-angle lens. Hi Nova 9 SE

The device is powered by a 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 5G chip which is believed to be the Snapdragon 695. The phone adopts a sandwich heat dissipation structure design with graphene material and high thermal conductivity. Under the hood, there is a 4000mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging. The brand claims the battery can go for 0-100% in just 35 minutes.
