If you were looking to buy the Sony PlayStation 5 for yourself but weren’t able to buy it due to its availability, then now is the time. The PS5 console’s next restocking date is out and it will go on pre-orders this month.

The PlayStation 5 will be in stock as early as next week. The industry insider Rishi Alwani has revealed that the console will be on pre-orders on April 22 at 12MP IST. This will be almost a month after its last pre-sale.

The console will be available in Digitial as well as in the Blu-ray version. Buyers will be able to get the Digital Edition for Rs. 39,999. The Blu-ray version costs Rs. 49,990. It will be available on Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, ShopATSC, and Games The Shop.

The Digital Edition doesn’t come with disc support, meaning that users have to rely on the Sony digital store for all the games. The Blu-ray version has a physical CD player, which apart from games, can also be used for playing Blu-ray movies.

The Sony PlayStation 5 comes with AMD’s custom Zen 2 octa-core CPU clocked at 3.5GHz. It has AMD’s RDNA 2 GPU with 36 Cuda cores. The console packs 825GB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD storage and 16GB of GDDR6 RAM. The PS5 supports backward compatibility meaning that you can play PS4 games on the PS5.
