Honor had announced the Magic 4 and Magic 4 Pro smartphones in its home market China last month after debuting the devices in the European market in the month of February.

The Honor Magic 4 Pro flagship smartphone is now available for purchase in the Chinese market, which was made available for pre-order a few days ago. Earlier, the sale of the device was delayed by 20 days.

The base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage is priced at 5,499 yuan (~$850) while the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model costs 5,899 yuan (~$912). The 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage model is priced at 6,499 yuan (~$1,005). The phone comes in four color options — Cyan, Gold, Black, White, and Orange.

The Honor Magic 4 Pro features a 6.81-inch LTPO OLED display with 1312 x 2848 pixels screen resolution, a variable refresh rate capable of up to 120Hz, 460 PPI pixel density, and a 360Hz touch sampling rate.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It also comes with a self-developed Honor Image Engine chip to enhance the photography experience.

The phone has also been integrated with an independent chipset offering the dual TEE security system to better protect users’ privacy. It also features an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for added security.

In the camera department, there’s a triple-camera setup on the back that includes a 50-megapixel wide primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 64-megapixel telephoto lens. On the front side, there’s a 12-megapixel snapper coupled with a 3D depth camera for better facial recognition.

The Honor Magic 4 Pro is running the latest Android 12 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own Magic UI 6 custom user interface on top. It is powered by a 4,600mAh battery and supports 100W fast charging.
