Samsung launched the Galaxy M21 in 2020 with Android 10 out of the box. The device later got updated to the Android 11 OS, and now, it is followed by the Android 12 OS. Samsung is pushing the One UI 4.1 update based on Android 12 OS for M21 models in India.

The update comes months after its siblings Galaxy A52 and A42 got the Android 12 update. The latest update for the Samsung Galaxy M21 has the build number M21FXXU2CVCC. It is currently released in India and it brings the newest April 2022 security patch.

The new update for the Galaxy M21 brings all the Android 12 features and also has the One UI 4.1 features. Users get revamped UI design with the new color palette feature. It has thicker slider bars and improved widgets, as noted by SamMobile. Other features include picture-in-picture mode, redesigned Device Care section, and more.

The update has also added the improved versions of all stock applications. This includes Bixby, Bixby Routines, Messages, Phone, Gallery, and others. One of the most notable features, which will compete head-to-head with iOS, also comes on board with the new update on the Galaxy M21. We are talking about the camera and mic indicators, where if an app is using your microphone or camera you will see an indication.

Samsung Galaxy M21 users should have received the OTA update notification. If not, you can update your device manually by going over to Settings > Software update.
