The new Asus ProArt Display PA147CDV is slated for release later this year. The portable monitor bears some remarkable semblance to the Duo lineup of laptops. It is a 14-inch touchscreen that can act as a secondary display for creative users. It has a small form factor and a 32:9 aspect ratio which is quite expansive.
The ProArt Display PA147CDV is currently being showcased at the 2022 NAB show in Las Vegas, United States. It is slated for a second-quarter release this year. The new Asus external monitor will debut first in North America although no price information is available at this time. The Asus ProArt Display monitor supports Microsoft’s Pen Protocol 2.0 and will be adaptable to Microsoft’s Surface Dial due to its built-in dial functionality. The display is equipped with an HDMI port and two USB-C ports. It also comes with a stand that enables either a horizontal or vertical orientation.
For the Asus ProArt Display PA147CDV to be inviting to its target customer base, it must be affordable and compact. As it is, it sits snugly between a conventional bulky second monitor or a touchscreen tablet. The pricing will be a major driver of demand for the ProArt Display PA147CDV.
