Lenovo has been one of the leading laptop brands globally, thanks to its wide range of selection and product range. The company has a lineup of budget laptops under the IdeaPad series and the portfolio has been expanded in the Chinese market.

The company has launched two new entry-level laptops in China — Lenovo IdeaPad 14 Ryzen Edition and Lenovo IdeaPad 15 Ryzen Edition.

Lenovo IdeaPad 14 and 15 Ryzen Edition

As the name itself indicates, both the devices come powered by AMD’s Ryzen processors. In this case, the laptops are powered by the AMD Ryzen R5 5500U processor which has six cores, 12 threads and offers a clock speed of up to 4GHz.

The chipset is manufactured using a 7nm process and also comes with a Vega7 Core graphics processor. Coming to the memory configuration, the laptops pack 8GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage.

While the IdeaPad 14 comes with a 14-inch display, the IdeaPad 15 features a 15.6-inch display, both of which have support for Full HD screen resolution. In the software department, the devices are running the latest Windows 11 operating system. As for the battery capacity, they are powered by a 42Wh battery.

Coming to the pricing, the Lenovo IdeaPad 14 Ryzen Edition is priced at 2,999 yuan (~$458) and the Lenovo IdeaPad 15 Ryzen Editon is also priced at 2,999 yuan. Both the devices will go on sale in the Chinese market on 30th April.
