OPPO Reno8 real-life image has been leaked. At the same time, the device has been approved by the 3C authority of China. It appears that the Reno8 series may launch as early as May in the homeland.

Popular Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station has shared the above-shown image of the Reno8. The tipster hasn’t mentioned the name of the device explicitly. However, the information that has surfaced through the leak is a good hint that it is the vanilla model from the upcoming Reno8 lineup.

The purported Reno8 retains the punch-hole display design from its predecessor model. The snapshot also reveals that it is powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 7-series chipset. It is a 4nm chip featuring 4 x Cortex A710 CPU cores clocking at 2.36GHz, 4 x Cortex A510 CPU cores running at 1.80GHz, and an Adreno 662 GPU. The chipset is expected to debut in May with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 name. RedmI have it that the Reno8 will be the first device to arrive with SD7G1.

Previous reports have claimed that the model number of the OPPO Reno8 is PGAM10. The device is popped up in the 3C’s database with an 11V/7.3A charger, which indicates that it will carry support for 80W rapid charging.

According to a previous leak by DCS, the Reno8 features a 6.5-inch OLED panel that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will have a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,500mAh battery. Its rear camera setup will comprise a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro/depth camera. The device will run on the Android 12 OS with the ColorOS UI on top.
