Honor unveiled its new Play-series smartphones — Honor Play 6T and Honor Play 6T Pro earlier this month. Recently, the device was made available for pre-order in the company’s home market China.
Now, the 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage model of the Honor Play 6T Pro smartphone is available for purchase in the Chinese market. The smartphone is priced at 1,399 yuan which roughly converts to $213 and comes in three color options — Titanium Silver, Midnight Black, and Rose Gold.
The Honor Play 6T Pro features a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display that offers 1080 x 2388 pixels screen resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 93.6 percent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor and packs up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
In the camera department, the phone features a dual-camera setup on the back that includes a 48-megapixel AI primary sensor which uses a 1/2-inch outsole and has a single pixel size of 0.8um, and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front side, the device has an 8-megapixel snapper for taking selfies and video calling.
The smartphone runs the Android 11 operating system out of the box with the company’s own Magic UI 5.0 custom user interface on top. The device is powered by a 4,000mAh battery that supports 40W super-fast charging.
