Xiaomi has unveiled the 8H Feel Leather Smart Electric Bed X Pro with the crowdfunding campaign scheduled to begin on May 7. The product is actually manufactured by Xiaomi’s ecological chain partner 8H and will be sold on Xiaomi’s Youpin platform. 
The 8H Feel Leather Smart Electric Bed X Pro is equipped with dual motors each on the back and legs. The motors are capable of lifting weights of up to 600kg and smooth lifting. The motors offer silent operations with a maximum operating sound of less than 45dB silent operation.
The electric bed supports individual adjustment of 60° on the back and 40° on the legs and can be adjusted as fine as 1°. According to the different needs of different groups of people for the bed angle, it provides two memory position settings to save your DIY presets.
When snoring is detected, Feel X automatically lifts the back of the bed by 15° and slowly adjusts the head to sleep on the side, opening the airway to fully supply oxygen to the brain. After the snoring stops, it automatically returns to the supine state gently without disturbing your sleep.
The 8H Feel Leather Intelligent Electric Bed X Pro has an intelligent detection core installed on the back of the bed, which can easily penetrate a 25cm thick mattress without wearing a device, and sensitively detect sleep movements. The smart bed is also equipped with a dual monitoring core on the left and right sides which can independently track the sleep data of more than one person. The detection data includes monitoring sleep heart rate, breathing rate, snoring, and body movement throughout the night, and can also score sleep quality.
The 8H smart electric bed is a part of the Mijia IoT ecosystem as it can be connected via the MIJIA app and linked with other smart products such as automatically turning off the lights when falling asleep, and automatically opening the curtains when you wake up.
The 8H Feel Leather Smart Electric Bed X Pro carries a crowdfunding price of 6399 yuan (~$968) but after the exercise, the product will retail for 7399 yuan (~$1,119) which is pretty decent considering the impressive features on board.
