Xiaomi has made a reputation for products that provide incredible value and go light on your pocket. Following this trend, the Chinese tech giant is now going to launch Xiaomi Wired Mechanical Keyboard. The product will be available for crowdfunding in Xiaomi Mall from 4th May. The wired keyboard will have a retail price of 169 ($26) yuan, but will be available at a crowdfunding price tag of 149 Yuan ($22).
The Xiaomi wired mechanical keyboard comes with a full 104-key layout. The keyboard has mechanical switches that offer superior key stability and a satisfying clicking sensation. The keyboard measures 426x122x38.5mm and weighs about 943g. It is smaller than the regular full-key keyboards and can save you some space. The keyboard is ideal for various office scenarios.
In terms of appearance design, this keyboard adopts a typical minimalist design. The wired keyboard comes with sunken keycaps and rounded corners, along with double injection keycaps. It has a built-in white LED backlight and supports 6 backlight adjustment modes.
The new Xiaomi keyboard is compatible with both Windows and Mac OS and can be switched quickly among both using the Fn+Win key combination.
If we talk about the axis, the keyboard provides two-axis choices that are the green axis and the red axis switches. The green axis comes with a strong paragraph sense. It is a tactile switch with “clicky” audio feedback. The green axis is suitable for gamers and aggressive typists. The red axis on the other hand has a weaker paragraph sense and a lighter sound. It is suitable for long-term office typing.
Xiaomi Wired Mechanical Keyboard supports multiple keys rollover. It has a 26 key rollover which means you can correctly register that 26 keys at the same time. Moreover, it can last up to 50 million key presses.
