Huawei is set to launch the Mate Xs 2 and Watch GT3 Pro to the global audience on May 18. The launch event will also see the unveiling of a few other products by the Chinese company. The Huawei Mate Xs 2 is Huawei’s latest foldable flagship which was launched in China last month. The Huawei Mate Xs was produced solely for Chinese consumers, but its successor, the Mate Xs 2 will be gracing the global stage. Huawei is quite excited about the lineup of products to be unveiled during its global event on May 18. Huawei continues to rise from the grave turbulence it had gone through in the past couple of years. The new products are a clear indication of the resurgence of the Huawei brand.

The Huawei Mate Xs 2 is a premium foldable smartphone that folds outwards unlike the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. It has a 6.5-inch OLED display when folded, which expands to 7.8 inches when it is unfolded. It has a 2480 x 2200 pixels resolution and a 120Hz display refresh rate. The flagship Mate Xs 2 is powered by the Snapdragon 888 4G SoC with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.Huawei Mate Xs 2

The Huawei Mate Xs will come with a 4,880mAh battery and 66W fast-charging support. The triple rear camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide camera. The selfie camera of the Mate Xs 2 is rated 13MP and can capture ultra-wide angles.

The Watch GT 3 Pro comes with a 1.6-inch AMOLED display. It also offers a number of health and fitness features. There are more than 100 sports modes, as well as several other decent features. Huawei is also expected to unveil some other products during the scheduled global launch event.
