Oppo is gearing up to launch its latest Reno 8 series of smartphones later today (23rd May 2022) in its home market of China. However, prior to its release, the device was also spotted on BIS certification, which hints that it will launch in India soon as well.

The upcoming smartphone was spotted on BIS by known tipster Mukul Sharma, who shared this news on Twitter. As of right now, it is confirmed that the Chinese smartphone maker will launch the Reno 8 series with three models, including a base variant, a Pro, and a Pro Plus version as well. So while the company has not shared any details regarding an Indian launch yet, this certification shows that the new devices will also be arriving to the Indian market soon.

The Reno 8 Pro was listed on BIS carrying the model number CPH2357. But unfortunately, the certification database does not reveal any finer details regarding this handset or when it may possibly be launching in the region. From what we know so far, the base Reno 8 is expected to sport a 6.43 inch AMOLED display that has a Full HD+ resolution. On the back, it will feature a triple camera setup and will be available in multiple color options like Clear Sky Blue, Slightly Drunk (Machine Translation), and Night Tour Black.
