The latest 5G-enabled laptop from Hewlett-Packard (HP) is the Pavilion x360 14. The new laptop is a budget offering from HP and it is priced as low as $599 for the base model. The HP Pavilion x360 14 laptops will be available for purchase this summer, according to HP.
The 5G feature in the HP Pavilion x360 14 is present in some of the models via Intel’s 5G Solution 5000. The 5G-enabled model will certainly be pricier than the base model, although no price has been given yet. The Pavilion x360 14 comes with a manual camera shutter. It will be HP’s first consumer laptop to sport such functionality. The new laptop will have the latest 12th Gen Intel Core U-series CPUs. Its 5MP camera comes with AI-based noise reduction and presence detection technology. The AI technology can automatically lock your laptop when you walk away from it.
HP is also offering the premium Pavilion Plus 14, which is the thinnest ever Pavilion model. The Pavilion Plus 14 is just 0.65 inches thick and is priced at $799. The latest HP Pavilion models will offer significant improvements from their 4G predecessors. The refreshed Intel processors and other functionalities, together with their affordable prices, could put them in good stead in the market.
Finally, the HP Pavilion x360 14 will support 5G connectivity, which could be a game-changer in the market due to its expected affordability. The current 5G laptops are in the region of $1,000 or more.
