As of right now, finer details regarding its launch is still unknown, but it is expected to launch sometime in the middle of this year. Since we are nearing the half yearly point, the South Korean tech giant’s announcement for the Galaxy A23 5G model could be just around the corner. The launch of this handset will expand the brand’s affordable 5G Galaxy phone portfolio in the European region.

Currently, the company already sells its Galaxy A23 4G smartphone, which features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC. So, we can safely assume that the 5G variant of this model will feature certain changes in hardware, especially in terms of its processor under the hood. The news arrives from sources close to the matter (Via GalaxyClub), although, a concrete launch date for this upcoming budget 5G smartphone is still at large at the moment.

Apart from a 5G enabled processor, we can expect the Galaxy A23 5G to be mostly similar to the 4G version of Galaxy A23. In other words, it would likely sport a 6.6 inch PLS LCD panel that has a 90Hz refresh rate and a Full HD+ resolution. The rear may feature a 50 megapixel primary camera while the front houses an 8 megapixel selfie shooter. A large 5,000mAh battery pack would power the device, which supports 25W fast charging.
