Last year, Xiaomi launched the Pad 5 series tablets in the Chinese market, which recently made their debut in India. Now, the company to gearing up to launch its successor models in China in the coming months.
As per the latest report, the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet will be launched in China in August this year. Currently, there’s no more information available for the exact launch date and the sale date for the device.
Another report from tipster Mukul Sharma claims that Xiaomi has now started testing the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 6 with model number 22081283G in Europe and also added that the tablet could launch by July end or in August.
The upcoming Mi Pad 6 was allegedly spotted at the EEC certification center with the model number 22081283G (L83). It is also being reported that another tablet from Redmi with the L81A model has also been spotted.
It is speculated that Xiaomi and Redmi are gearing up to launch at least four new tablets in the market — L81, L81A, L82, and L83. One of these will be the Redmi device, while the other three could be variants of the Xiaomi Pad 6.
The report adds that the company will switch the processors and the Xiaomi Pad 6 series will be powered by MediaTek chipsets instead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon series processors found in its predecessors.
As of now, not much is known about these upcoming tablets from Xiaomi and Redmi, but we expect to get more information in the coming weeks and months as the products could go official in a couple of months.
