Vivo was supposed to launch the Vivo T2 smartphone in May in China. However, it was recently confirmed through Weibo that the Vivo T2 launch event has been postponed to June 6. Today, the company took to its Weibo handle to state that the Vivo T2’s announcement has been further delayed.

It is unclear why Vivo has been delaying the Vivo T2’s launch. Some reports had claimed that the company may have postponed its launch due to a resurgence of COVID cases in the country. The Vivo T2x and Vivo T2 were expected to launch together on June 6. However, the company unveiled the Vivo T2x without any fanfare.

Vivo will soon confirm the new launch date for the Vivo T2. It is likely that the company may announce the T2 later this month in China. Rumors have it that the T2 will be a rebranded version of the IQOO Neo 6 SE, which went official in China last month.
