Vivo was expected to unveil the Vivo T2 5G today (May 23) in China. However, the company has confirmed through its Weibo handle that its launch has been postponed. It confirmed that its launch has been pushed to the coming month (June).

Due to force majeure, the Vivo T2 5G launch event has been postponed to 7 PM (local time) on June 6 in China. It appears that the company may have postponed due to the COVID-19 resurgence in the country. The Vivo T2 5G will be arriving as the successor to last year’s Vivo T1 5G, which featured the Snapdragon 778G chipset.

The Vivo T2 5G product page, available on JD.com, has revealed some of its key specifications. As can be seen in the post below, it will be arriving with an AMOLED E4 screen that offers a 120Hz refresh rate and will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset. For photography, it will feature an OIS-enabled 64-megapixel main camera. The device will have support for 80W fast charging.
