Original story continues…

Last year, in October, Vivo announced the Snapdragon 778G powered Vivo T1 5G smartphone in China. It debuted as the company’s first-ever T-series smartphone. Now, the company is reportedly working on its successor. A reliable tipster from China has tipped the launch date of the Vivo T2.

Earlier this month, a publication spotted the IMEI database listing of the Vivo T2. The listing only revealed the name of the device and hinted that it may debut soon. It is also expected to carry support for 5G connectivity. According to tipster Bald is Panda, the Vivo T2 will be announced on May 23 in China. Unfortunately, there is no information available on the specs of the device.

Vivo has recently confirmed that it will be launching the Vivo S15 and S15 Pro smartphones on May 19 in China. If the company really plans to announce the Vivo T2 on May 23, an official confirmation on the launch date may soon appear in the next few days.
