Recently, Vivo has been increasing its focus on the Indian market with the introduction of its gaming sub-brand iQOO and its announcement to launch the latest flagship, the Vivo X80 series in India on May 18th.

Now, according to a 91mobiles report, the brand might soon invest even more in the Indian market as tipster Yogesh Brar has informed that Vivo is planning on opening experience stores in India, similar to the Apple experience stores. The tipster states that the brand might achieve this objective in the next 2-3 quarters i.e by mid-2023.

Other than that, the brand also has plans to launch new products in the country including the Vivo Pad tablet and a laptop line. These products are rumored to hit the Indian markets in Q3 2022. Currently, there is no information on the upcoming laptop, however, we know all about the Vivo Pad as it recently debuted in China.

Vivo Pad specs and features

The Vivo Pad has an 11-inch LCD display with a 2.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It offers stylus support and features a quad-speaker system with support for Dolby Atmos.

Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage. It draws power from an 8040mAh battery and has support for 44W fast charging. Other than that, the tablet runs on Android 11-based OS out of the box and has a USB-C port, 3.5mm jack, WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC.

Coming to optics, the tablet comes with a dual-camera setup on the back comprising of a 13MP primary camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. On the front, the tablet has an 8-megapixel selfie sensor.
