Xiaomi‘s gaming-focused sub-brand Black Shark debuted the Black Shark 5 and 5 Pro earlier this year in China. The company has now launched the devices globally, and we have brought you details about their prices, availability, and specifications.

The devices have been launched in North America, Europe, and the UK and their prices are as follows:

The Black Shark 5 and 5 Pro both come with a 6.67-inch FHD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) E4 AMOLED display with refresh rates of up to 144Hz. They offer a peak brightness of 1300nits, DC dimming, HDR10+, and 100% P3 color gamut. Other than that, the display has a 720Hz touch sampling rate for lightning-fast touch responsiveness while gaming.

Under the hood, the vanilla variant comes powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset while the Pro model offers a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Both the models come with LPDDR 5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The Pro model will likely offer Xiaomi’s Disc Array 2.0 (UFS + SSD combination) to boost the read and write speeds up to 55% and 69% respectively.

Other than that, both models feature a 4650mAh battery paired with 120W fast charging, Android 12-based Joy UI 13, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and pop-up magnetic triggers for gaming.
