Last month, OnePlus launched the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G smartphone in some European regions. The smartphone has also been rumored for the Indian market, and now, we finally have a launch timeline.
Tipster Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz), citing industry sources has stated that the device will launch in India sometime in the month of June. The report does not give an exact launch date, but considering we are already in June, it will likely be revealed soon.
Oneplus Nord 2T 5G Specifications
As the device is already on shelves in multiple regions, we already know all of its specifications and features. The device has a 6.43-inch flat AMOLED display panel with an FHD+ resolution and support for a 90Hz refresh rate. The display panel has a punch-hole cutout on the top left and the fingerprint scanner is located on the power button.
Under the hood, the device houses a 5G enabled MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC paired with the Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. It comes with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The smartphone has a 4,500mAh battery with support for 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. Software-wise, the device runs Android 12-based OxygenOS 12.1 out of the box.
For optics, the smartphone has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor with OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. On the front, the device has a 32-megapixel IMX615 sensor for selfies and video calls.
Pricing (expected)
The device launched in Europe with a €399 price tag, So it will likely debut in India priced below the ₹30,000 mark.
