A mysterious OnePlus phone has received certification from the FCC authority. As usual, the certification has revealed a few key specs of the phone. The details that have emerged suggest that it will be an affordable device. Hence, it seems that it may debut as a Nord branded smartphone.

The FCC documents (via) of the upcoming OnePlus phone with model number CPH2469 reveal that it is a 4G LTE device. The FCC filing has a document that states that OPPO is authorizing OnePlus to market an OPPO phone (CPH2387 model number) under its own company name. For those who don’t know, the CPH2387 phone recently debuted in Thailand with the OPPO A57 4G marketing name.

The other details that have appeared through the FCC documents are that the mysterious OnePlus phone will be a tweaked version of the OPPO A57. The FCC filing reveals that the CPH2469 will have changes such as a new battery cover with a OnePlus logo, the inclusion of a red USB cable, switching to a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system, running OxygenOS 12.1, and the removal of the headset. It appears that the rest of the specs of the phone could be identical to the OPPO A57 4G.

The FCC documents have further revealed that the OnePlus CPH2469 measures 163.74 x 75.03 x 7.99mm and packs a 5,000mAh battery. It will also carry support for SuperVOOC fast charging. The details that have surfaced through the FCC filing suggest it may end up as a Nord branded phone.
