The Chinese tech giant’s 12S was found listed on GeekBench, which is a popular benchmarking app. Notably, its appearance follows soon after the higher end 12S Pro model was spotted on 3C certification website. Now, the 12S has been listed on GeekBench database, with the 2206123SC model number. Looking at the listing, the device will be equipped with an octa core processor that has four cores clocked at 2.02GHz, three cores with 2.75GHz frequency, and one super core at 3.19GHz.

In other words, we can clearly tell that the chipset in question is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which will likely be paired with Adreno 730 GPU. Furthermore, the GeekBench database also lists that smartphone with 12GB of RAM, although, it will likely come with multiple RAM and internal storage configurations. The upcoming Xiaomi 12S will also run on Android 12 OS based MIUI 13 custom skin out of the box, and managed to score 1328 points in single core and 4234 points in multi core tests on GeekBench tests.

Based on the previous sighting on 3C, the Xiaomi 12S will arrive with support for 67W fast charging as well. This is similar to the higher end 12S Pro. Other expected features include, 120Hz AMOLED display, a 50 megapixel primary camera on the back, and possibly Leica branded lens for the rear cameras. This device will likely launch in China soon and likely launch in the global markets soon after.
