Amazfit has released a limited-edition model of the GTR 3 Pro priced at $250. The Amazfit GTR 3 Pro Limited Edition has the same internals as the original GTR 3 Pro but it comes with a flat-screen design. Recall that the Amazfit GTR 3 Pro sports a curved display. The Limited Edition Amazfit GTR 3 Pro is available exclusively from Amazfit’s website. There is also a limited discounted price of $210 for the new GTR 3 Pro.
The news of the release of an externally refreshed Amazfit GTR 3 Pro was not the announcement expected from the company. There have been speculations about the imminent launch of the GTR 4 series, but we have to wait a bit more. The Amazfit GTR 3 Pro Limited Edition has identical specs to the original model. In terms of app support, the new model will be linked to a new set of SKUs. The 3D curved design has been dropped and the hardware buttons look flatter. It is stated that the design changes were spurred by the Bauhaus Movement.
The Amazfit GTR 3 Pro Limited Edition retains the UHD AMOLED screen with performances at par with the original foldable. The Limited Edition Amazfit GTR 3 Pro will expectedly come with similar battery life. The frame of the new variant is also made from stainless steel and the strap is made of leather, unlike the original model. The original GTR 3 Pro had a fluoroelastomer strap. There are no indications yet of how long the introductory offer for the GTR 3 Pro will last.
