A Vivo phone with a V2219A model number surfaced in the database of the TENAA certification platform recently. The final moniker of the device is not known yet. It was initially speculated to launch as an X-series phone. However, tipster Blad is Panda has claimed that it will be arriving as a Y-series phone.

The tipster has claimed that the V2219A will be a Vivo Y77 series. He added that it will be the first Y-series phone to arrive with support for 80W fast charging. At the same time, another tipster, Paras Guglani, has also tipped that in the coming month (July) in China, Vivo will announce the Y77 5G series with specs like the Dimensity 8100 chipset and 80W charging. The lineup may include two devices, such as the Vivo Y77 5G and Vivo Y77 Pro 5G.

Coming to the specs of the Vivo V2219A, it has a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ display and is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor. The V2219A does not seem to be powered by the Dimensity 8100 SoC.

The device is equipped with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of internal storage. There is no microSD card slot on the device. It will probably come pre-installed with the Android 12 OS.

The V2219A packs a 4,380mAh (rated capacity) dual-cell battery, which seemingly supports 80W fast charging. It is unclear whether the device has an in-display or a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device features an 8-megapixel camera on the front and a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system on the back. The device measures 8.59mm in thickness and weighs around 194 grams. It will be available in black and white colors.
