Earlier this year, Lenovo announced the new Lenovo Smart Clock Essential that ditches the Google Assistant present in the last-gen model for Amazon Alexa. Now, this smart clock has finally made its Indian debut. So, let’s take a look at its pricing, specs, and features.

The Lenovo Smart Clock Essential with built-in Alexa voice assistant has a price tag of Rs. 4,999. It comes in Misty Blue and Clay Red and is available to purchase from Amazon India and Lenovo online store.

The smart clock offers a 4-inch LED monochrome non-touch display that is capable of showing time, day, and weather in the idle state and it can also work as a timer.
The body of the smart clock has a soft-touch fabric finish and multiple buttons for volume up/down, alarm, and Alexa. The clock comes with a 1.5-inch 3W speaker and a far-field microphone array consisting of 2 units. Other than communicating with Alexa, the 3W speaker can also be used for streaming songs, audiobooks, and podcasts from Amazon Music, Spotify, etc. It also has a microphone mute toggle and a USB Type-A port that can charge other devices like a smartphone.
It is powered by an Amlogic A113X chipset and comes with 4GB of RAM and 4GB of storage. The Smart Clock Essential comes with multiple sensors like an ambient light sensor, accelerometer, and proximity sensor. Connectivity options on the product include single-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.1.
