Last year, Lenovo unveiled the Smart Clock 2 in the US offering Google Assistant support and a wireless charging dock. Now, the device has been launched in India for an asking price of Rs 6,999(~$94).
The Lenovo Smart Clock 2 can be purchased from the Flipkart India website. The smart clock is an impressive piece of tech that shows time and also has a wireless charging dock, for charging your phones and supported gadgets. It has a 4-inch touchscreen LCD display. It has a 3W front-firing speaker and a far-field microphone. It features soft-touch fabric material that offers a premium look.
It has a Google Assistance feature out of the box and supports “Hey Google” and “Ok Google” commands. You can ask, talk, and get things done from the assistant. Although the device has a screen, it lacks a camera, so only audio calls can be made with the help of Google Assistant.
It has Bluetooth v4.2 support, a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, and has a light and an accelerometer sensor. The smart clock is powered by MediaTek MT8167S chipset and has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage.
The wireless charging dock can charge wireless charging-supported devices. Lenovo has offered a 10W max fast charging speed with a 5W minimum and a 7.5W charging speed support. The company claims that it is also Magsafe compatible.
It weighs 298 grams and needs to be connected to a power socket in order to work. As of now, it comes in only a single color, the Heather Grey. But notably, it was also launched in Abyss Blue and Shadow Black colors in the US.
