Motorola is working on a new foldable smartphone dubbed the Motorola Razr 3. The device has already appeared in a hands-on video leaked by the popular tipster Evan Blass. Now, a new report has revealed the battery capacity of the upcoming foldable from the company.

According to the Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station, the Razr 3 will come with a 2,800mAh battery. This is the same battery capacity as the Motorola Razr 5G from 2020, which is powered by the Snapdragon 765G chipset. However, the upcoming Razr 3 is expected to come with the recently announced Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, which is around 30% more power-efficient than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. This is due to it being made on TSMC’s 4nm node instead of Samsung’s. Therefore, we can expect better battery life from this device compared to the 2020 model.
Motorola Razr 3 specifications (rumored)
The Razr 3 is said to come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz foldable screen with a punch-hole design on the inside. The outer display of the device will measure 3-inches.

As mentioned above, it will feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and will arrive with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. The device will have a 2,800mAh battery, however, there is no information on the fast charging capacity as of yet.
For optics, it will feature a 50-megapixel main camera and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens. And up front, it will come with a 32-megapixel selfie snapper. Last but not the least, the foldable smartphone will operate on MyUX flavored Android 12 OS and will also feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
So far, rumors suggest that Motorola will launch the Razr 3 in July 2022.
