Oppo has just launched a new mid range smartphone in India. The new model is a part of its popular A series of phones, and is dubbed the Oppo A57. So, let’s have a look at the device’s specifications, features, pricing, and availability.
Talking about its specifications first, the smartphone sports a 6.56 inch LCD panel on the front that has a HD+ resolution, 269 PPI, and 600 nits of peak brightness. It only offers the standard refresh rate of 60Hz but also comes with Panda MN228 Glass protection. Under the hood, the A57 is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G35 SoC that is paired with 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM.
The device runs on Android 11 OS based ColorOS 12 custom skin out of the box and is powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack that supports 33W fast charging as well. On the back, it features a dual camera setup, which consists of a 13 megapixel primary sensor and a 2 megapixel mono lens. Meanwhile, the front houses an 8 megapixel selfie shooter. Other features include, a side mounted fingerprint scanner, USB Type C charging port, 3.5mm headphone jack, IPX4 and IP5X water and dust resistance rating.
The new Oppo A57 is currently available in India in two color options, including a Glowing Green and Glowing Black variant. The device has a price tag of 13,999 INR (roughly 180 US Dollars) and can be purchased from the company’s official online store as of right now.
