POCO is launching two new smartphones viz. the all-around flagship – POCO F4 and POCO X4 GT – gaming phone. Both phones will be launched globally on June 23rd at 20:00 (GMT+8). To know more about the launch event you can follow the official POCO Twitter account.
POCO F4
POCO has designed its latest F4 all-rounder flagship phone to meet the needs of daily users as well as tech lovers. Smartphone makers are always trying to find the right balance between high performance and low power consumption and POCO F4 achieves this balance thanks to its powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset. The stability, performance, overheating and power consumption of your phone generally depends on the chipset. With the POCO F4, you have a high-performing chipset with low power consumption and heat generation. Moreover, with the addition of VC Liquid Technology 2.0, you get a cooling area of 3112mm² and up to seven layers of cooling graphite, which gives you enhanced performance even when playing 3D games. POCO F4 will feature UFS 3.1 and advanced LPDDR5, which will give it a fast and stable performance for multitasking, transferring files, loading large games, etc.
As for the camera, you have a triple rear camera system with a 64MP main sensor and OIS. We will have to wait for the launch event to know more about the camera specs. The smartphone will feature a Samsung E4 AMOLED flagship straight screen, with a peak brightness of up to 1300nit and a super high contrast ratio of 5000000:1, providing an excellent display for games, videos, and photos. With professional-grade color grading and Dolby Vision and the 120Hz high refresh rate, the F4 display will be perfect for pro gamers and movie lovers.
The phone will be fueled by a 4500mAh battery that can last for hours when playing heavy games and will support 67W turbo charging.
POCO X4 GT Gaming Phone
Another device to be unveiled during the global launch event is the POCO X4 GT. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 (5nm) chipset the phone focuses on powerful performance combined with power efficiency. Though the brand is keeping the specs under the warp, we do know that the smartphone will feature an LCD display and will be the first-ever POCO smartphone with a 144Hz refresh rate.
