It will not be wrong to say that Samsung is the undisputed king of software updates. The company has gotten so good at updates that it even embarrasses Google now. Samsung recently rolled out the One UI 4.1 version on almost all the major Galaxy devices. Now, it seems the company is gearing up to release the beta version of Android 13-based One UI 5.0 to the flagship Galaxy S22 Series.
Samsung appears to have begun the development of the Android 13 beta version for Galaxy S22 series smartphones as the latest build has been spotted for the Galaxy S22 in South Korea (Via TizenHelp). The spotted beta firmware is labeled as S906NKSU2ZVF6.
Looking at the recent developments, it will not be surprising if Samsung starts the beta testing program next month in July. The Galaxy S22 series which includes Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra will be among the first devices to get the taster of the new beta build. However, more flagship smartphones will eventually join the party.
Samsung recently made some firmware policy changes which will enable the Galaxy S22 users in Europe countries to get their hands on the beta firmware soon.
Android 13 release date is still not announced yet as the OS is still under development. However, Google has shared a schedule that suggests we can expect a stable release sometime in August 2022. Google is yet to release the third beta version of Android 13.
