The Indian smart accessories, fitness gear, and home audio brand, Gizmore, has just launched a new women-centric smartwatch in the domestic market called the Gizmore Slate. So let’s take a look at its specs & features.

The Gizmore Slate is an Indian made smartwatch that has a practical rectangular design with a sleek metal frame. It features a 1.57-inch IPS display that has 500 nits of peak brightness and curved 2.5D glass at the top. The smartwatch also has the Always-on-Display feature that’s not usually available on an IPS display panel. Its silicone strap has a premium design that enhances the look and feel of the smartwatch.

The watch comes with multiple health related features that can track blood oxygen levels, heart rate, sleep, hydration, meditative breathing and mensural cycles. The fitness related modes features on the smartwatch include running, skipping, yoga, swimming, basketball, cycling, trekking, aerobics, etc.

The smartwatch has the popular Bluetooth Calling feature that lets users answer and make calls directly form their smartwatch. Other smart features offered on the Gizmore Slate include weather forecast, call rejection, alarm, find my phone, timer, stopwatch, walk reminder, wake gesture, calendar reminder, vibration alert, remote music control and built-in voice assistant support for Google Assistant and Siri. It has 100+ cloud based watch faces and up to 7 days of battery backup on a single charge. Last but not the lease, it comes with an IP68 rating, making it quite resistant to water and dust.

Pricing & availability

The Gizmore Slate smartwatch comes in pink, grey, and black colors. It is available to purchase from Snapdeal for an introductory price of Rs. 2,299. The introductory price is limited to the first 1,000 customers, after which, the smartwatch will cost Rs. 2,699.
