Recently, Redmi India held a promotional campaign in major cities of India to celebrate the third anniversary of its Redmi K20 series by conducting an exclusive screening of the movie, Top Gun: Maverick. Several KOLs across different cities took part in the campaign and carried out giveaways for their followers.

A Twitter user seems to have shared images of the movie tickets and gift vouchers that he received through the campaign. As can be seen in the tweet, the time period to redeem the gift voucher is between July 24 and August 7. Tipster Abhishek Yadav claims that the Redmi K50i 5G may go official before July 24 in India. If it turns out to be true, Redmi India may start teasing the K50i 5G later this week in the country.

The Redmi K50i 5G is said to be a branded version of the Redmi Note 11T Pro 5G, which debuted in China in May. The handset is expected to arrive in 6 GB + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variants. It may come in colors like black, blue, and silver.
The Redmi K50i 5G will sport a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Dimensity 8100 chipset and up to 8 GB of RAM. The device will offer 128 GB of storage and run on the Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 on top.
The K50i 5G will be packed with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. For photography, it will feature a 16-megapixel front camera and a 64-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (depth) triple camera unit.
