Xiaomi 12S Ultra is all set to launch on July 4 in China alongside other flagships, such as the Xiaomi 12S and Xiaomi 12S Pro. While the company has revealed the design of the Xiaomi 12S / 12S Pro, it is yet to confirm the appearance of the 12S Ultra. A couple of recent leaks have attempted to reveal its design, but none of them appears to have been completely accurate. Fresh posters of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra that are now doing the rounds on Weibo have finally revealed its design.

As can be seen in the new images, the Xiaomi 12S Ultra will be sporting a leather back. Rumors are rife that it may also come in a ceramic back variant. The top portion of the back panel houses a large camera block. It houses a round-shaped camera module but lacks a secondary screen, which was made available on the predecessor model.

Xiaomi recently confirmed that the Xiaomi 12S Ultra will be equipped with a 1-inch Sony IMX989 primary camera. The main camera seems to be at the centre of the camera module. Below it is a telephoto periscope zoom lens. The Leica branding can be seen at the top-left corner of the camera block.

An ultrawide lens appears to be on the left side of the main snapper. On its right side is a dual-LED flash unit. Rumors have it that it will feature a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 48-megapixel telephoto periscope camera with 5x optical zoom.

The new images do not reveal the front side of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. However, its CAD renders, which appeared in the previous month, revealed that it will be sporting an AMOLED with a punch-hole design and curved edges. The 12S Ultra is expected to arrive with specs like a 6.7-inch AMOLED QHD+ 120Hz display, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, a 20-megapixel front camera, and a 4,800mAh battery with 67W fast charging and 50W wireless charging support.
