ASUS has a popular lineup of gaming smartphones in the form of the ASUS ROG Phone and the company is now gearing up to launch the next-generation flagship smartphone lineup in the market, dubbed ASUS ROG Phone 6.

The company has already confirmed that the upcoming gaming smartphones will be officially launched on 5th July for the global markets. It is expected to announce two smartphones — ASUS ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro.

ROG Phone 6 Global Launch

The launch event for the ROG Phone 6 series will be live-streamed by the company on its official YouTube channel at 8:00 AM EST or 5:30 PM IST.

The ASUS ROG Phone 6 features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display that offers a screen resolution of 165Hz with slim bezels on the sides. It also comes with an under-display fingerprint sensor for added security.

Under the hood, the device is confirmed to come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor. The phone could come packed with up to 18GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.

In the camera department, the ASUS ROG Phone 6 is expected to have a 64-megapixel primary camera sensor, coupled with an ultra-wide lens and a macro sensor. On the front side, the device is likely to have a 12-megapixel selfie snapper.

The smartphones will be running the Android 12 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own ROG UI custom interface on top. The devices are also expected to be the first in the lineup to have IPX4 splash resistance.

The ASUS ROG Phone 6 is expected to be powered by a 6,000mAh battery and come with support for 65W fast charging and could have two USB-C ports for charging.
