Reports have revealed that Nubia is working on the Red Magic 7S series of gaming smartphones. A few weeks ago, the Red Magic 7S with the NX679S model number and the Red Magic 7S Pro with the NX709S model number were spotted on the 3C certification platform in China. Both devices have now received approval from the TENAA authority of China. Here is all the information about the Red Magic 7S duo that has surfaced through their TENAA certifications.

Red Magic 7S, 7S Pro specifications (rumored)

The Red Magic 7S and 7S Pro are both fitted with a 6.8-inch OLED panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The Red Magic 7 and 7 Pro, which debuted earlier this year, supported a 120Hz and a 165Hz refresh rate, respectively. Hence, it is likely that their updated editions will also offer the same refresh rate.

It looks like the same 3.2GHz octa-core processor powers the Red Magic 7S and 7S Pro. In all likelihood, both devices may come equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Both devices are expected to arrive with 8 GB / 12 GB / 16 GB / 18 GB of RAM.

The Red Magic 7S will come with 128 GB / 256 GB / 512 GB of storage, whereas the Pro variant will come with an additional storage option of 1 TB. The duo will come preloaded with the Android 12 OS and Red Magic UI.

The back panels of both phones will feature a 64-megapixel triple camera unit. The TENAA listings mention that both phones have an 8-megapixel front camera. However, the Pro model could be equipped with a 16-megapixel under-display selfie snapper like the Red Magic 7 Pro. The vanilla model will feature a 4,500mAh battery, whereas the Pro model will house a 5,000mAh battery. Both phones were spotted with a 165W charger at 3C. However, it is likely that vanilla may offer slightly slower charging speeds as compared to the Pro model.
