The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer edition’s existence was confirmed in May when Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Last month, Realme confirmed that the GT2ME will be made official in July. Today, the company took to its Weibo handle to confirm its launch date.
Realme will be unveiling the GT 2 Master Explorer edition at 2 PM (local time) on July 11 in China. A Realme phone with an RMX3551 model number was recently approved by Chinese certification sites, such as 3C and TENAA.

The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer edition will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a central cutout. It will feature a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Because it will be a flagship device, it is likely to offer a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Under the hood of the Realme GT 2 ME will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. It is anticipated that the device will have 6 GB / 8 GB / 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB / 512 GB of internal storage. The smartphone will be powered by a 5,000mAh dual-cell battery with 100W charging capabilities.
The device’s rear panel will have a 50-megapixel (main) + 50-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel triple camera module. It will sport a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies. Some of its other features include an in-screen fingerprint scanner and Android 12 OS with Realme UI 3.0 on top. It measures 161.3 x 74.3 x 8.2mm and weighs around 199 grams. Lastly, the device will come in white, brown, and green colors.
