According to ITHome, the Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi’s Chairman, Founder, and CEO Lei Jun revealed the latest news ahead of Xiaomi 12 Series launch conference which will be held tonight. He announced that Xiaomi’s new series of cutting-edge routers are extremely capable and is majorly suited for super-luxury houses or small and medium-sized enterprises ahead of its launch tonight.
According to Lei Jun’s description, the top-end Xiaomi tri-band mesh router is a premium router designed for large apartments and comes with two sets in a box, and has been named the Xiaomi HomeWiFi router. The router comes with an impressive range and can cover a distance of 150 meters directly, and up to 10 devices can be connected simultaneously.
According to prior statements made by Xiaomi representatives, their new line of premium routers will address issues like network dead spots in the house, slow loading speeds, and extremely-efficient connectivity.
Additionally, tonight’s conference will be utilized to launch some other products like the Xiaomi 12S, the Xiaomi 12S Pro, Xiaomi 12s Ultra, and more.
The Xiaomi 12S Ultra, which will have the largest main camera sensor in the business and a 1-inch Sony IMX989 lens, is anticipated to be the event’s star attraction. We can understand why Xiaomi is confident in saying that its next flagship will usher in a new era of smartphone photography, given the US$ 15 million it spent developing the Sony IMX989 sensor in partnership with both Sony and Leica.
In China, the brand’s official channel on Bilibili will broadcast the highly-anticipated launch event live. The live feed will also be broadcasted globally on Xiaomi’s official YouTube account. The timings for the event are 7:00 pm Beijing Time (GMT +8), 4:30 pm IST (GMT +5:30), and 12:00 pm London Time (GMT +1).
