China has a major demand for headphones, considering this market alone accounts for $3.85 billion in revenue in the country. Now, the Chinese audio-device manufacturer Baseus has announced the launch of a new over-the-ear headphone, the Bowie H1.
Baseus Howie 1 specifications and features
Baseus Howie 1 headphones offer a premium finish with a cushioned headband. Additionally, the drivers have been cushioned with leather-like soft foam material for added comfort.
The device also features multiple buttons on both sides, for controlling media playback, volume, calls, and accessing features like noise cancellation and transparency mode. It offers noise reduction up to 40dB, and also supports transparency mode.
The acoustics of this headset is provided by a 40mm sound unit. According to the official, this headset can have a battery life of up to 40 hours with noise reduction switched on and up to 70 hours with noise reduction off. It can be fully charged in an hour and enables fast charging. This headset’s decoding protocol is compatible with AAC and SBC, and it supports Bluetooth 5.2 technology for connections.
Price and availability
Baseus Howie 1 is retailing at 299 Yuan ($45 approx.) in China. The headset is now offered in off-white and grey colors.
